a non-Happy Anniversary...and some new News...

Today — August 8th 2009 — marks seven years since Randy passed away in a hospital bed exactly one week after being involved in the serious auto accident. My thoughts today are of Randy.
The News page is ridiculously outdated. I seem to have some mental block about simply writing an update and sending it to Craig to post, but for those of you who patiently venture into this forum year after year and see that things are still progressing, here a brief bit of really great news: the album is 99.9% mixed. Literally, there is one day scheduled for this week to finish tweaking one song — louder, crunchier guitars and thicker bass! — and that will be it. We are also talking to a few artists and deciding on the cover art. Then, it's onto hitting the labels. Realistically all this won't come together until early 2010, but it really is pretty much done.
I know I've said this before, but I WILL expand upon these thoughts in a News update. I've been kinda waiting to get the mixing done, and then I won't have any excuses...
